I would Like to share my joy about the journey I have moved with Vero Centre. I got to know about the counsellors at the centre through a friend in April 2021. I was going through alot of emotional challenges at that time, had no job, and my esteem was very low. I felt a “good for nothing” and didn’t see any woth for me in life. I was bitter and depressed because I did feel as though God had abandoned me. Nothing was working for me, yet as for my friends, everything was good. they were succeeding and progressing in life. I had once earch my friend Sarah talk about some people who had taught her how to value herself, how to be positive, how to pray and be confident of oneself. Infact I was seeing an improvement in her life from what she used to be. Through a phone call, we agreed to meet at Vero Centre.
While there, I was counselled, encouraged, and heard positive affirmations, wich they made me repeat several times in speech and writing. I was taught how to pray, forgive, love myself and gain confidence. I was challenged to find atleast 2 people that I admired as role models, and imitate them; they good habits, communication, socialism and others. I went home with a relieved heart that day. I started seeing myself, as the 2 people I had chosen as models, in my dreams. Through prayer and continous interaction with the counsellors and other members at Vero Centre, I recovered from the many weaknesses that were holding me back. Fotunately, I got a job in May 2022, as this was one of my whole hearted prayers answered. Now I am thankful and confident, all the sorrow I had at heart is history.
Therefore, to everyone that need counselling,, emotional support, and spiritual guidance, I encourage you to visit Vero Centre. You will find love and comfort, which will help you rediscover yourself. The many things that make us timid, and fear the challenges of life, are manageable when you associate with the right people. I will forever be greatful for Vero Centre fro opening my eyes.
